The primary focus of the Analyst I- HRIS, is the support and maintenance of ThedaCare's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and other systems supported by the HRIS Team. This position serves as a technical point of contact and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst I will also support HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
 
Responsibilities and Influence

  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools

  • Provide reports and data analysis to enable business decisions

  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data

  • Assist in researching and implementing enhancements and software configuration that optimizes and streamlines the application functionality to meet end user and business requirements

  • Provide data or application expertise for projects and key initiatives

  • Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities

  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches

  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix document process and results

  • Build test cases and support User Acceptance Testing

Skills and Attributes

  • Excel at providing excellent internal and external customer service

  • Ability to prioritize work and responsibilities

  • Proven experience managing highly confidential information

  • Understanding of Human Resources functions and role in the business analytical ability to understand data and work with business partners to dissect and interpret data

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Three to five (3-5) years of data management and analytics experience

  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience building, running and analyzing reports

  • Two to three (2-3) years of HR IS process design, documentation, management and implementation experience preferred
