The Associate Director - Business Partner will partner with designated departments within the Lexington County Health Services District (LCHSD) to understand their Human Resources (HR) priorities, strategic and tactical objectives and other related HR needs, as well as communicate existing house-wide HR programs and offerings.  This role will also coordinate with HR specialists and Recruiters to ensure that departmental needs are understood and met.  This role will provide HR support for departments, make recommendations, implement changes, and design strategic interventions to ensure that quality service is delivered and that HR programs meet department objectives and LCHSD goals.  The Associate Director - Business Partner will be responsible for assuring that adequate resources and training are provided to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and fully communicated to the staff within area of responsibility.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or other related discipline required. An advanced degree or certification in HR is highly preferred.

7+ years of experience in a Management/HR Generalist role with functional specialty, and working knowledge of strategic planning, project management and internal consulting.

Excellent verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Excellent presentation skills, comfortable presenting to a large group.

Ability to interact with senior management and outside vendors.

Identifiable strengths in the functional components of HR including recruitment & retention, employee relations, compensation & benefits administration, and training/staff development is required.

Experience in performance management, and change management is preferred.
