Job Details

The Associate Director, Global Benefits supports the Executive Director of Global Benefits in the management of non-US benefit programs (inclusive of medical, retirement, risk insurance programs and EAP) of Fox Entertainment Group. Fox Entertainment Group has a total of 5,000+ employees outside of the US in over 50 countries. The role will also occasionally support US domestic benefits when needed, as well. 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage global renewals for insured benefits utilizing primarily global broker but also direct management where global broker not present
  • Research latest trends and compliance regulations , propose solutions for aligning with them, and upon approval, implement change/solution
  • Accurate inventorying of non-US benefit plans, and design and key documentation; provide relevant information to internal stakeholders
  • Compose non-US benefit program communications in some cases directly and/or with the help of local in-country partners and/or consultants
  • File appropriate compliance filings for non-US benefits where Fox Benefits has responsibility in lieu of the local team and where local teams have responsibility; ensure appropriate oversight and guidance is provided to them
  • Prepare initial annual budget of non-US benefit program costs
  • Maintain and develop trustful on-going relationship with key internal stakeholders, including regional/country HR business partners, financial managers, internal legal advisors, procurement team, and local management (when relevant)
  • Oversee special non-US benefits projects, such as implementation of new in country programs, RFP's for in country service vendors, integration of programs between in-country Fox entities, etc.
  • Partner with external benefit vendors and consultants for management of programs
  • Analysis on financial impact of benefit program changes and/or introductions 
  • Assist with US domestic benefit projects and tasks when needed but focus will be primarily on non-US benefits management

Requirements

  • BA/equivalent or higher educational background (but may be waived with exceptional experience); benefits specific credentialing/certificate a plus
  • 5+ years' experience in non-US benefits design necessary; administrative/operational background a plus 
  • Moderate to advance financial modeling skills and number crunching (i.e. Microsoft Excel)
  • Comfortable with stakeholder management in shared service corporate environment, servicing diverse business functions and corporate cultures
  • Ability to manage by influence, manage up, and self-manage in order to achieve desired and assigned outcomes
  • Strong written and oral communications skills; comfortable presenting and interacting with all levels of the organization; background creating employee communications and pitch decks a plus
  • Ability to derive conclusions/take action when full comprehensive information may not be available 
  • Willingness to work at non-standard times to accommodate time zones differences and stakeholders' schedules
  • Some travel may be required but not extensive (10%>)
