Are you up for the challenge of joining California Correctional Health Care Services’ (CCHCS) newly formed Succession Management Program?

We are seeking driven, knowledgeable analysts with the ability to multi-task and work well under deadlines to assist with the implementation and maintenance of this important program across all 35 correctional institutions, regional offices, and headquarters.

In this key role, you will perform varied and complex technical analytical functions associated with succession management planning, including conducting research and performing detailed data analysis of multiple reports and spreadsheets in order to accurately project future vacancies; assist in determining future staffing needs and develop corresponding succession plans; track and report effectiveness of assigned goals and objectives; act as a liaison to assign contacts in the field; and consult on the development and implementation of action plans.

To thrive in this position, you must have knowledge of principles, practices, and trends in human resources, including management and supportive staff services such as budgeting, personnel, management analysis, planning, and program evaluation; the ability to analyze data and present ideas and information effectively; demonstrated ability to consult with and advise administrators and other stakeholders on a wide variety of subject matter areas; and a willingness to travel statewide to correctional institutions and regional offices.  Experience in succession management planning is desirable, but not required.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to join this dynamic program – you may apply online at EOE.
