The Associate/Human Resource Business Partner will act as a strategic business partner with functional groups and will lead and participate in various HR related projects. This role will report to and work closely with the Sr. HR Manager and will implement HR programs and policies with the business by providing professional HR guidance and support to the assigned functional groups.

Responsible for partnering with Department Leaders to drive cultural change and people strategies that support the key business and HR initiatives.
Develop and deliver HR related training.
Collaborate internally and externally to solve human resources problems.
Drive engagement and high performance within the business.
Effectively manage and resolve employee relation issues in an objective and timely manner.
Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR calendar as well as participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
Serve as an HR Generalist, using knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to managers.
Build and support a culture of inclusion and diversity.
Contribute to the development of & support the execution of people strategy & goals for the broader organization by working closely with HR colleagues and management team to identify the current and future needs of the business.
Identify and drive the communication and sharing of learning across functions to facilitate continuous organizational improvement.
Manage recruiting and retention strategies with business partners.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field SPHR or PHR certification preferred Demonstrated supervisory, budget management and written and oral communication skills. 3-5 years of HR generalist experience Comprehension of federal, state and local employment laws. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Quick thinker with ability to adapt to dynamic and situational events. Exceptional organizational skills. Strong team orientation. Project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to remain flexible and open to change within a fluid global industry.
