Job Details

The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Columbia University invites applications for one or more positions at the rank of Associate Professor of Professional Practice or Professor of Professional Practice specializing in management. Faculty will teach courses in one or more of the following areas:

-technology management
-leadership
-strategic management
-negotiation and conflict resolution
-organizational psychology
-human resources/human capital management
-organizational behavior

Faculty in these ranks will teach across programs which offer management courses. This position will begin on July 1, 2017. This is a full-time appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review.

Successful candidates will exhibit a commitment to excellence in teaching, mentoring, instructional design, and professional practice and/or scholarship.

Ideal candidates will hold a doctoral degree, terminal degree, or its professional equivalent in business, management, leadership, psychology, or related fields in the discipline.
