United Methodist Communities at Pitman is seeking a full-time Associate Resource Director for our community in Pitman, N.J. This position provides Human Resources support to our associates.

 The Associate Resource Director is responsible for administering Human Resources services and programs which include recruitment, benefits, associate relations, as well as training and development. Assists leadership in the execution of performance enhancements, coaching/mentoring and separations. Coordinates investigations and counsels associates.  Administers and interprets human resources policies/procedures and ensures leadership is consistent in policy application for staffing, promotion, discipline and termination. Assists in the maintenance of HRIS, new hire orientations, assists with benefit enrollment and performs backup to payroll. Monitors and responds to unemployment and workers compensation claims.


Requirements

 The Associate Resource Director must have an Associate’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field/Bachelor’s preferred. 2-5 years of experience in the HR field with knowledge of federal and state laws. Member of SHRM with SHRM CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification required.
