Job Details

The ideal candidate would be responsible for assisting in the administration of employee benefit programs.  Under supervision, the candidate would perform administrative duties following established procedures in onboarding, new employee orientation,  annual benefit enrollment meetings, and other HR related administrative duties.

Essential Duties:

  • Process health, dental, vision and other ancillary benefits
  • Ensure compliance with COBRA and FMLA
  • Maintain employee records and benefit filings
  • Provide, process and maintain paperwork for employee retirement plan transactions
  • Conduct benefits orientation and training activities for all employees
  • Demonstrate knowledge of employee benefit plans
  • Answer and provide questions regarding benefit eligibility, coverage, claim procedures
  • Assist in the employee relation resolution process



  • 3-5 years of benefits, insurance or human resources experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • PHR certification is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulation applicable to benefit plans, FMLA, ADA, and ACA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs ( Excel, word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to read and interpret coverage documents
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgement communicating with employees
