Life-Science Innovations is seeking a Benefits & Compensation Manager

We’re looking for an HR professional experienced in benefits and compensation who can help us build on our existing programs and take them to the next level, aligned with our unique Strengths-based, Servant-Leadership culture, in an effort to keep us at the forefront of attracting and retaining talented employees.                                                  

The opportunity:

As a trusted advisor you would support an organization of 12 affiliate companies, comprising of 1,900+ employees spread out across multiple states, in the design, development and implementation of performance management, compensation and benefits plans. You will work in close collaboration with our benefits team and field strategic business partners to implement and manage programs.

This role requires the ability to:

  • Partner with the Director of Human Resources and affiliate company business leaders to develop and implement strategic total rewards plans customized to the needs of the business.
  • Provide data analysis and prepare management reports on process performance metrics.
  • Provide input and recommendations to ensure existing practices are effectively demonstrating company values and the achievement of targeted business goals.
  • Lead and implement complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Create an empowered, team-oriented atmosphere with direct reports and indirect project team members.
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices pertaining to benefit plan design and compensation practices.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Benefit plan design & management
  • Performance management systems design & management
  • Compensation plan design & management

Requirements

The Education & Experience We Are Seeking:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related Business field; Master’s level degree
  • 5+ years of experience with a history of growth in the areas of benefits and compensation
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Benefits and/or compensation certification preferred
  • Experience working with and communicating in a diverse workplace with multiple locations highly desired
  • HR Professional Certifications such as:  SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP are highly desired
