Job Details

Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for a Benefits Coordinator for our Pulaski branch.

 

 

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for providing support with the administration of all group benefit programs, including processing benefit enrollments, insurance billing and maintaining benefit records. Processes changes in company HRIS and carrier websites and provides relevant information to COBRA vendor regarding terminations. First point of contact for all employee benefits inquiries and changes from both internal and external customers. Distributes required documents/summaries to employees, retirees and COBRA participants. Researches and resolves discrepancies as needed. Compiles employee packets and assists with the benefits presentation at new hire orientation. Assists new employees with the completion of HR/enrollment forms and follows-up regarding outstanding information. Processes monthly insurance premiums, maintains retiree premium payments spreadsheet and verifies FSA and HSA deductions. Coordinates and assists with ACA reporting requirements, including 1095-C processing. Assists with the administration of FMLA and disability programs. Participates and assists in the planning of annual Open Enrollment. Maintains confidentiality of protected health information, company benefits and financial data at all times. Maintains employee files and performs various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of benefits experience with a general knowledge of 401(k), FMLA, COBRA, ACA and other similar benefits. Must be proficient with MS Office and data management within HRIS. Must have a strong attention to detail, be well organized and have the ability to prioritize workload and work within time constraints. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able maintain confidential information. Must be able to travel on occasion as required.
