Are you looking for a way to get your foot in the door of a great HR department in a fast-paced organization?  To see HR from the corporate-level and how it impacts the organization as a whole?  Regal is currently looking for someone that is interested in learning about the different aspects of HR, beginning with Benefits.  Located in Beloit, WI (named one of America’s Greatest Main Streets), Regal is looking for a Benefits Specialist to join their team.


The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration of U.S. employee benefits.  The person in this role will provide guidance and assistance to our HR team and employees across the country as related to benefits.  S/he will work closely with our benefit vendors to ensure timely and accurate administration of our plans.

  • Responsible for voluntary plans, including: life insurance, disability, dental, vision, and critical illness
  • Manage employee leave plans, including: FMLA, ADAAA, and PTO
  • Respond to court ordered benefit enrollment requests
  • Maintain Regal’s Benefits Hotline
  • Drive improvement in how benefits are administered in Oracle, working closely with our HRMS team
  • Run and participate in various special projects for the organization
  • Work closely with HR and Payroll to ensure benefits are implemented and deducted appropriately
  • Gain and/or maintain knowledge and compliance with the provisions of FMLA, ADAAA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws
  • Support domestic annual enrollment process

Requirements

To be amazing in this role, you’ll need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • One year of HR experience preferred, but not required
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness when faced with ambiguity
