Job Details

Position Purpose

•       The primary focus of this role is to be a strategic recruiting partner for Brambles business units, leading the recruiting activities and collaborating with hiring managers and leadership on their hiring initiatives.

•       Individual will be responsible for Manager level and Executive recruiting for key positions as well as provide support as needed to roles amongst the team.

•       This role is a critical to ensuring an adequate pipeline of top talent is available to fill key roles within the business, to function as a subject matter expert for talent acquisition, and truly function as a “Talent Consultant”.

 

Scope

•       Number of Countries:  3+

•       Number of Locations: USA, Canada, Brambles, and potentially Latin America

 

Major/Key Accountabilities

•       Manage full-cycle staffing needs for cross-functional client groups while developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies.

•       Develop, manage, measure and communicate industry best practices surrounding talent acquisition.

•       Work with Brambles Talent Management and Executive leadership (up to and including CBU Leaders) on development of workforce planning to ensure we have a pipeline of talent at the Band 4+ level.  Source the best talent by identifying industry leaders, subject matter experts and respected competitors to recruit them to Brambles business units.

•       Lead kick-off and wrap-up meetings with executives

•       Implement a core, common and consistent approach to finding key talent for the company.

•       Conduct initial pre-screen and telephone interviews to assess candidate’s abilities, qualifications, and fit.

•       Ensure effective communication and relationship building with all candidates in the pipeline

•       Assist in managing the Talent Ambassador program, which will ensure our executives will maintain networking connections in a top to top environment

•       Establish and manage a schedule of regular updates with hiring executives and generate progress reports

•       Communicate effectively with the hiring executive and interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process

•       Develop a pipeline of ready now talent, which will reduce time to fill at the Band 3 and 4+level, reducing business interruption

•       Develop, manage, measure and communicate innovative, industry best practices surrounding talent acquisition

•       Evaluate staffing vendors and make recommendations on vendors usage and spend

•       Post job openings on inter-company site and external sites.

•       Identify and review qualified applicants/resumes from the Applicant Tracking System (ATS/Peopleclick)

•       Apply Boolean and other sourcing techniques on LinkedIn, with local networking groups and social media to build the passive talent pipeline; and utilize technology to keep in contact with Talent Communities.

•       Mentor, guide and assist recruiters on the team.

 

Measures

•       TTF and Reduced TTF for Band 4+ executive positions

•       Cost savings spent on executive search firms

 

Authority/ Decision Making

•       Candidate travel budget

•       Making offer recommendations to Managers, Sr. Leaders and Executives for band 3+ positions. (Band 1-2 as needed).

•       Extending offers to band 3+ candidates, negotiating offers, relocation authorization, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. (Band 1-2 as needed).

Requirements

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

•       BS Degree in Business, Human Resources or other associated field or equivalent experience

Desirable Qualifications:

•       PHR

•       Recruiting Certifications

 

Experience

•       5+ years of successful senior level staffing experience in Fortune 100/500 companies or an external agency/staffing/executive search firm

•       2+ years of direct Executive Recruitment experience

•       Experience recruiting and building rapport with C-level executives

•       Experience using a Premier level ATS (PeopleClick, etc.)

             o    Extensive knowledge of internet sourcing strategies and candidate                 relationship management tools and techniques (min. 3 years) such as                 LinkedIn, AIRS SearchLab, Zoom, etc.

•       Comfortable in high volume corporate recruiting environment

•       Experience with any of the following and/or open to recruiting in the areas of: Supply   Chain/Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Customer Service, Plant Operations, IT and other as assigned.

 

Skills and Knowledge

•       Proven track record of recruitment success in an agency and/or corporate environment.

•       Ability to deliver results with little supervision, and to effectively manage multiple searches/projects and candidates

•       Ability to think very strategically about Manager and Executive talent while responding quickly to changing priorities

•       Executive presence with the ability to earn trust and credibility quickly

•       Ability to understand, articulate and sell Brambles culture and business initiatives

•       Hands-on recruiting expertise utilizing passive networking techniques

•       Sophisticated management of staffing metrics, reporting, analysis and manpower planning strategies for client groups

•       Strong drive for results and commitment to a high caliber level of service to internal customers.

•       Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to work under tight deadlines

•       Ability to negotiate and influence others

•       Strong computer and technical proficiency, with a working knowledge of MS office and Web-based applications.

•       Knowledge of EEO, FLSA regulations related to hiring and recruiting.
