Responsibilities:

KeyW is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to provide key analytical support and recommendations in the areas of market pay benchmarking, short-term and long-term incentive plan design and administration that will ensure the company continually attracts, motivates and retains associates.

Base Compensation

  • Participate in market based compensation surveys analyzing results and market trends.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners by providing compensation consulting and conduct market pricing by job matching.
  • Work with market data to maintain updated job descriptions, appropriate salary ranges, and geographically dispersed requirements
  • Proactively work with Pricing and Business Development to establish appropriate compensation plan and model for new bids
  • Assist in providing guidance on merit budgets
  • Ensures compliance with FLSA ,SCA, and other federal and state laws and regulations.

Short Term Incentive Program

  • Conducts detailed analysis/modeling of incentive compensation data to identify issues or opportunities for improvements in both the company's short-term and long-term incentive plans.
  • Works directly under the guidance of the Total Rewards Director, Chief People Officer, COO and CFO to lead the planning and administration of the leadership incentive compensation plan to establish plan rules and guidelines including data maintenance and employee communication for short-term awards and the incentive compensation plan

 Long Term Incentive Program

  • Assists with coordinating the annual administration of equity awards under the company's Long-Term Incentive Plan, working directly with the Stock Administrator
  • Supports the activities, as needed, to issue grant agreements, vest awards, exercise stock options, etc.
  • Assists with communication requirements for long term incentive plans

Other

  • Assist with communicating and training for pay programs for both employees and managers
  • Assists in the preparation of necessary compensation materials / reports for the compensation committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Uses data analysis skills to help in other areas of the HR function including predictive analytics, engagement surveys, etc
  • Will maintain various databases used to administer compensation program, evaluating opportunities to create efficiencies and work flows that save costs
  • May assist with job description development and inventory of job roles in the organization
  • May engage with benefits to evaluate total rewards for current employees and future awards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 7-9 years compensation experience; with at least 3-5 years experience with short term and/or long term incentive compensation plans
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Must have working knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements, government contracting compensation plans
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Exposure to global compensation and sales plan practices preferred
