Job Details

New Jersey Resources is seeking a Compensation Analyst responsible for providing analytical, administrative and clerical support to the compensation area. 
 
Major Responsibilities
 • Assist with year-end salary administration process, including compensation calendar, communications, spreadsheet updates and strategy report processing and verification.
 • Support Leadership Development and Compensation Committee book preparation.
 • Responsible for preparation of annual personnel information; taxable vehicles, salary and incentive budgets, spreadsheet and reports. 
 • Maintain monthly reconciliation and distribution of the Employee Statistics Report. 
 • Process annual complement adjustments and balance budgeted positions against financial records.
 • Responsible for the communication and administration of the Employee-Owned Taxable Vehicle Program; including annual renewal analysis. 
 • Assist with year-end Success Factors compensation module and provide backup to the Manager of Compensation for system inquiries and assistance.
 • Monitor and maintain position descriptions and track associated updates for S&P and GO employees; communicate with business units for current position descriptions and coordinate with PayFactors for necessary updates to job description module. 
 • Prepare benchmarking analysis of job descriptions against external market and internal data for review by the Manager of Compensation. 
 • Review job requisitions in Dayforce against employee statistics for complement and budget approval. 
 • Gather data and complete annual compensation and quarterly Department of Labor surveys. 
 • Generate reports or spreadsheets for completion of annual surveys and analysis of results. 
 • Coordinate, process and maintain recommendations and records for the Recognition Champion Award Program. 
 • Develop and conduct compensation-related training as needed.
 • Provide administrative backup to the Manager of Compensation and handle special projects as needed. 
  
 

Requirements

Education and Experience
 
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) Management or a related field preferred. Professional in HR or Senior Professional in HR certification a plus. At least two years of HR experience preferred. Must have good time management skills and the ability to work independently, as well as with a team. Strong work ethic, attention to detail and confidentiality are critical. Good analytical, financial, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Proven ability to handle multiple assignments and understanding of HR processes and data is essential. Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Strategy and other Microsoft and desktop applications required. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce and Success Factors a plus.
