Job Details

GCP Applied Technologies is currently seeking a Compensation Manager to join our energetic team in Cambridge, MA. The Compensation Manager will design and implement compensation programs that support GCP Applied Technologies’ global reward philosophy and business objectives. Additionally, the Compensation Manager will ensure that pay programs are internally equitable and externally competitive, enabling our company to attract and retain exceptional talent.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to global compensation strategy formulations focusing on base pay and annual incentive compensation

  • Continuously evaluate effectiveness and cost effectiveness of compensation programs, innovating and recommending changes to reward offering as appropriate

  • Manage benchmarking, job evaluation, survey selection and participation and annual salary review across geographies with accountability for North and South America

  • Lead the design and implementation of sales incentive plans globally and the company’s annual incentive plan

  • Integrate pay programs with local laws and regulations to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

  • Negotiate cross-culturally to facilitate change, learning and problem resolutions

  • Partner with business unit leaders, regional directors, managers and HR team members worldwide

 

Requirements

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 10+ years compensation experience including at least 3 years at international level, including: responsibility for sales incentive plans, program governance, vendor management, exposure to different countries’ pay systems and norms  

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong analytical skills combined with effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong customer service orientation and collaborative problem solving skills.

  • SAP & HCM (Human Capital Management)

 

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA

  • Experience in HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
