Compliance Analyst – Human Resources

Under general supervision, provides support for Human Resources Compliance programs, including researching, tracking and reporting on current federal, state and local employment legislation; developing processes to ensure compliance with applicable employment laws.


  • Conducts data validation analyses, interpretation and reporting for monthly/quarterly AAP reports
  • Conducts research and analysis in support of Human Resources planning, tracking or special projects. Tracks trends and developments in assigned functional areas.
  • Assists with scheduling, administration, and scoring of HR Compliance audits.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert of USCIS Form I-9 compliance requirements.  Provides extensive I9 guidance to field partners.
  • Assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; reviews, interprets and recommends policies.  Provides policy interpretation and guidance to the field.
  • Prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  • Develop and deliver internal training and compliance bulletins to ensure consistency in the application of HR policies, procedures and practices across the organization
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of affirmative action program; files EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reports annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to state and federal regulations.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Accesses Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.



  • Working knowledge of current federal, state and local statutes including but not limited to EEOC, affirmative action, FMLA, FLSA and immigration regulations and guidelines. 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, administrative agencies and the public.
  • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with general supervision
  • Ability to work efficiently in a diverse work group
  • Ability to interpret, analyze and report statistical data


  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and HR experience
  • One year direct experience with completing, reviewing and auditing the Form I9.
  • Proficient in Office (Excel, Word, Sharepoint)  including the ability to manipulate formulas and analyze results


  • Experience with SAP
