Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and talented Training Manager to train, mentor and motivate team members across the organization. This highly impactful position will have the unique opportunity to build, cultivate, and drive a training program that will further the success of one of the strongest credit unions in the industry.

You will identify training needs of the organization to determine what our team members need to learn to be even better. You will introduce learning programs and approaches that will support our business strategy and support our core service and product delivery goals.

The Training Manager will have multiple strengths in the following areas:

  • Designing and building an engaging learning and development strategy from scratch
  • Hands-on coordination and facilitation of training and development programs for all employee levels
  • Proactive, innovative thinking with the ability to influence and inspire organization leaders and staff members
  • Working independently, but in a team-oriented environment
  • Driving organizational success through training and development

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, organization behavior or adult learning or a combination of education and related work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years training delivery experience in a service related field
  • 3 years of credit union or banking experience in operations or lending sales preferred
  • Highly effective and engaging presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organization effectively and respectfully.

To perform this job successfully an individual must have:

  • Strong knowledge of design software and exceptional training design and facilitation skills
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and utilize instructional design applications and technology
  • A strong understanding of technology required to deliver blended learning
  • Ability to utilize a Learning Management System for scheduling, tracking, and reporting purposes
  • Proven ability to build and assess metrics that will effectively measure the effectiveness of the training programs
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint
