Position Overview

University of Cincinnati Health (UC Health), a premier comprehensive academic healthcare enterprise dedicated to patient care, research, and education, announces a national search for Director of Compensation, Benefits & Pension (BCP).

The selected HR Executive is professionally prepared to assume a truly pivotal executive role, providing leadership and HR guidance that ensures the integrity and operational excellence of the health system’s human resources and performing a key role in performance enhancements of HR operations for a premier, award-winning enterprise.

The Director (BCP) directs the daily operation of Benefits, Compensation and Pension programs to ensure UC Health remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent, ensures compliance with all Federal and State laws, and provides analysis and recommendations to Senior Management regarding compensation and benefit strategies.  The Director will also provide counsel and support to Chief HR Officer on compensation, benefits and legal compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field required.  Master’s degree in Business, Health Administration or equivalent experience and education strongly preferred. 6-10 years of prior human resources management and leadership experience required.  Previous experience in a union workforce and/or Academic Medical Center experience is strongly preferred.  HR benefits and compensation certification required
