The Director, Employee Benefits will function as a member of the Senior HR leadership team and will be involved in strategic planning efforts for the design and implementation of a system-wide benefits strategy. This position will have enterprise-wide responsibilities for total rewards programs and systems that support the achievement of the organization’s business strategies and goals. The scope of benefits programs will include legally required benefits, income replacement programs, disability insurance and income protection (life insurance), medical benefits, dental and vision, wellness programs, retirement programs, paid time off, deferred pay, pay for time not worked, unpaid leave, flexible spending accounts, tuition re-imbursement and loan forgiveness programs, recognition non-cash awards, and perquisites.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished leader in developing organizations and mentoring others, as well successful in developing diverse high performance teams. Have a solid foundation in the analysis, understanding, and knowledge of business financials. Superior client service skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communications are required. Experience creating materials and presenting to Board level leaders and senior executives is necessary. Prior experience working in a HR shared services environment.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
- 10-12 years of benefits design experience in a large insurance company, health care organization, or customer services organization; 7-10 years management experience.
- In depth knowledge of benefits methodologies and market trends.
