We are seeking experienced Director level Human Resources Business Partners.

Working under the direction of the Deputy Director of Human Resources, this position will interface with multiple divisions and sections to provide a wide range of human resource generalist duties.   The HR Business Partner will execute various strategies and tasks to accomplish HR business objectives.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related area PLUS seven or more years of progressively responsible, multi-functional, current, related Human Resources experience.

Must have a broad HR background in a large complex organization with cross functional expertise in general HR functions with emphasis on compensation.

Must have experience managing diverse HR functions.

Strong working knowledge of all related state and federal regulations and laws regarding HR.

Practical knowledge of organizational dynamics, development and structuring, succession planning, employee development and performance management.

Must have experience administering HR programs and managing change in a large, complex, unionized environment.

Must possess prior experience managing a staff and budget. Understanding of corporate organizational structures and functions of each, as well as staffing needs, long- and short-term planning and employee development.

Working knowledge of labor agreements and work rules as well as related HR laws.

Must possess strong, proven leadership, management and customer service skills with strong decision making abilities.

Ability to identify and resolve related issues and find solutions, as well as implement preventative measures to limit future occurrences.

Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities simultaneous with limited, specific time frames.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and reasoning skills with ability to interact with employees of all levels.

Good judgment and a high degree of professional integrity to maintain credibility and confidentiality
