HRIS Administrator

Under general supervision, the HRIS Administrator will support Thresholds talent management HRIS system. This is a key role contributing to the delivery of effective talent management solutions by analyzing and troubleshooting system issues, while ensuring a positive customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the primary administrator of Thresholds’ talent management HRIS system using knowledge and skill to troubleshoot, recognize areas for improvement and recommend updates and improvements to systems and processes.
  • Serves as the team’s compliance specialist, supporting the team with the clinical and grant related audits, EEO, AAP and general data compliance.
  • Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing and auditing data.
  • Primary point of contact for Hiring Managers regarding complex technical questions related to position control, transfers, promotions and the new hire on‐boarding process.
  • Supports the administration of the annual performance review process including tracking of performance reviews.
  • Serves as key liaison with stakeholders including Payroll, Information Technology, and Quality to support business processes and program administration.
  • Monitors Talent Management policy and procedure as it relates to HRIS database and related talent management systems.
  • Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train TM team and stakeholders on new processes/functionality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

EXPERIENCE:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of solid HRIS or HR generalist or specialist experience. Previous healthcare or social service experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated analytical ability to use/manage database information. Strong technical background for support of the HRIS database and integrated systems.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, function and process. Previous experience with ADP or PeopleSoft desired.
  • Demonstrated project management experience including the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of HR process and data, including eligibility and enrollment and enrollment rules and benefit procedures to ensure successful implementation.
  • Hands on experience in data conversion techniques and methodologies. Demonstrated system implementation and conversation experience required.

SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS

• PHR/SPHR preferred
