This individual will enable the organization to achieve greater flexibility and attain competitive advantages by leveraging its human capital. Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.  As the head of a two person organization, will demonstrate operational as well as strategic excellence (HANDS ON).



  •          Designs, plans, and implements human resources, compensation and benefit programs, procedures and policies for staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety. Ensures compliance with EEO, ADA, and OSHA guidelines.
  •          Analyzes and provides information on employee demographics, trends, and projections to senior management.  Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Interprets results to assist in planning, developing and suggesting human resource management decisions used for staffing, productivity and training.    
  •          Conducts needs analysis and resource allocation studies to determine most effective use of human capital resources. Makes recommendations to top management based on research.
  •          Responsible for evaluating and suggesting new benefit or compensation structures or changes to existing plans.  This includes negotiating with brokers, vendors and 401K plan administrators
  •          Responsible for the analysis and administration of corporate compensation programs including wage/salary surveys, annual and long-term incentive programs, and deferred compensation plans within relevant labor markets to determine competitive wage rates.  Ensures that the plans/programs are consistent with employer's policies and all applicable federal and state laws.
  •          Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Plans and conducts new employee orientation programs to foster positive attitudes toward company goals.
  •          Keeps records of insurance coverage, pension plans, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  •          Handles daily compensation and benefit operations in human resources department. Overall responsibility for all payroll functions. With accountability to both controller and human resource departments.
  •          Oversees the organization’s HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) platform and maintenance of data. Reviews data input and output reporting for accuracy.  Monitors and improves data collection and reporting procedures for efficiency.  Evaluates, analyzes, designs and maintains company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Identifies new HR needs and the software products to fulfill these needs.    Supervises HRIS Clerk/Payroll Manager
  •          Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  •          Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carriers.
  •          Identifies all department operating costs and prepares the budget for personnel operations.



  •          Master's degree preferred
  •          At least 7-10 years of experience in HR
  •          Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  •          A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
