NYLO Hotels ( is a hospitality platform with five properties in New York City, Dallas, and Providence. Thanks to new ownership, we are on the verge of a complete brand renovation that will bring our current modern, design forward, loft-inspired properties in line with our new vision: hotels that offers dynamic common spaces that bridge creativity and socializing, destination restaurants and bars, and refreshed, contemporary amenities.


This vision will not be possible without the best in talent to match. To meet our new growth strategy goals, which will include the expansion of NYLO into additional markets, we are looking for a candidate to spearhead our Human Resources Department to help recruit engaged, forward-thinking, and collaborative talent in each of our markets. The position will be a part of the team that is redefining the culture of NYLO. The candidate will be a true gatekeeper for the company, ensuring that we are sourcing and attracting the best candidates for all positions. This position will also lead the charge to train new members, ensuring that the culture and philosophy of NYLO is consistent across all teams.

 Specific responsibilities include:

·         Employment/Staffing

·         Training

·         Intra-company communication

·         Internal policies / procedures

·         Compensation management

·         Performance management

·         Benefit management

·         Employee services


Education and Experience:

·         Undergraduate degree required

·         PHR/SPHR Certified Preferred

·         5+ years of Human Resources experience of increasing responsibility at a progressive, forward-thinking company

Skills and Abilities:

·         Excellent leadership/management 

·         Knowledge of basic human resources and labor law practices

·         In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry and hotel operations

·         Demonstrated success in developing and managing HR functions

·         Highly developed team-building skills with the ability to work effectively with all layers of management

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         High standards in ethics, service, and image

·         High degree of self-organization, discipline and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously 

·         Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel


The position is based in Dallas, with occasional travel required
