Job Details

Serves as a consultant to all HSO employees on Human Resources related issues. Develop solutions. Focus on the mission and objectives set forth by the organization.  Assist in the processing and handling of various HR functions.

  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance carriers.
  • Approve FMLA leave, and support Payroll Manager to coordinate worker’s compensation, unemployment and disability claims by answering questions. 
  • Represent company at personnel-related hearing and investigation as needed with Payroll Manager.
  • Update position descriptions as needed for new and existing roles.
  • Report all legal issues to VP of HR and support Human Resource function to ensure policies, procedures, reporting and files are in compliance.
  • Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Serve on and facilitate committees as assigned.
  • Build relationships with all HSO employees
  • Provide guidance and support with all policies and procedures
  • Partner with HSO Management team for all HR related matters
  • Assist with hiring and termination process
  • Prepare various reports
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations
  • FMLA leave, Workers Compensation, unemployment, Disability Claims
  • Work closely with all employees in HR Department
  • Other duties as assigned




Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other related field

Experience in Healthcare setting preferred
