Job Details

Transtelco,  a multinational telecommunications organization, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to head our Human Resources Department in Juarez, Mexico. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in HR in both Mexico and the US, and will be able to communicate effectively with team members and the management team on both sides of the border. 

 

The Human Resources Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, evaluation, and development of the human resources function and team. Additionally, the Human Resources Director will be key in aligning employees, members of management and the organization as a whole with the company mission, core values, organizational goals, and corporate culture.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years’ experience in an HR Generalist related role, be fully bilingual, have a solid background in Mexico employment and labor laws, and is experienced in leading bicultural teams. 


Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources related field equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years HR generalist experience, with a minimum of 3 years HR management experience.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR Professional certification preferred. 
  • Experienced in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals in all areas of HR.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments, the management team and all levels of associates.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage sensitive situations and confidential data.
  • Strong HRIS, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications experience.
  • Technologically proficient.
  • Demonstrated experience in motivating, developing, and directing associates.
  • Solid business acumen.
  • Ability to travel as needed. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
  • English/Spanish bilingual required.
