Imagine your next position as a Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager managing diversity and inclusion (D&I) programs to support key strategies that foster a culture of inclusion at Altria.

Specific accountabilities may include:
  • Supporting the strategic direction of diversity & inclusion by leading key D&I initiatives across the enterprise, including Employee Resource Groups, Mentoring Programs, Communication Strategies and Learning & Development initiatives
  • Acting as the primary point-of-contact for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and contributing to the strategic direction of ERGs in alignment with D&I strategies
  • Contributing to and managing the overall D&I communication strategy, including website content, social media strategies, intranet articles, external speaking engagements, etc., in partnership with Corporate Communications and Talent Acquisition.
  • Planning D&I related events (speaker series, workshops, D&I Summit, etc.) using project plans, vendor management strategies, budget management, communication strategies, etc. Ensure alignment with overall D&I communication strategies
  • Recommending and implementing D&I-related leadership development programs and services to enhance Altria's culture of inclusion. Partner with the Leadership Development team as appropriate
  • Developing relationships with external organizations that contribute to Altria's efforts to cultivate a culture of diversity & inclusion. Recommend appropriate engagement and utilization strategies in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Corporate Citizenship
  • Partnering with the HR Analytics team and/or the D&I Specialist to identify internal and external trends related to diversity and inclusion
  • Acting as an internal D&I consultant to Altria employees as required to provide D&I subject-matter expertise and guidance
  • Engaging with the Altria Diversity Council as required

Specific skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience, training and education
  • Minimum of 5 years of diversity and inclusion or related work experience in project management, talent or organization development
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and identify key stakeholders (internal/external) with the ability to influence without authority
  • Consultative skills to provide guidance and coaching on matters related to diversity and inclusion
  • Ability to identify data sources and evaluate data metrics to identify trends in order to make strategic recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience in project development, project execution and project management
