JOB DESCRIPTION

Serves as member of department leadership in streamlining/developing, implementing and delivering effective and efficient human resources strategies, programs and processes that align with the Department's and University's strategic goals and objectives. Oversees and directs employment services for University which focus on recruitment, employee relations, ADA, EEO and AA, maintaining compliance with federal and state employment related regulations. Supports other HR functions as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, the Employment Services Manager will play a critical role in leading and mentoring a team consisting of a dynamic HR Business Partner, HR Specialist, and HR Recruiter.

You will help address complex employee relations issues; work to build an effective, engaged, and inspired workforce; and, manage and execute a marketing and recruitment strategy in the Human Resources department.

You will do this by: leveraging your knowledge and experience of proper and current workplace and employment investigative methodologies and practices; creating work standards for projects; and, establishing and defining timelines, staffing roles and responsibilities, specific outcomes, and clear measures for quality and success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Five years HR experience including: coaching managers on employee relations, legal issues, policies, recruitment and selection. Two years supervision experience.
