University of Vermont Medical Center, Vermont’s academic medical center and founding member of the University of Vermont Health Network, seeks a Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager.

The UVM Medical Center is a regional, academic healthcare center and teaching hospital in alliance with the University of Vermont, serving all of Vermont and the northern New York region. We are located in Burlington, Vermont, a small vibrant city situated on the shore of beautiful Lake Champlain.

 

Position Summary:

The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) Program Manager works across the organization to support the Diversity Advisory Council (DAC) and key leaders in the implementation of the ED&I Strategic Plan. The ED&I Program Manager acts as the primary point of contact for ED&I efforts and develops systems, processes, and education that move the organization towards the ED&I goals.

Requirements

Education:

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Master’s Degree preferred but not required.  Project Management Certification preferred.

 

Experience:

At least three years of related professional experience developing and overseeing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives in a large organizational system, preferably healthcare.  Experience facilitating and delivering ED&I training. Experience with Project Management. Expertise in metrics and measuring ED&I initiatives.
