The Executive Director will strategically support the development of the organization through effective workforce planning and will be responsible for attracting a high performing workforce.  Fueled by system growth, this is a newly created role which provides an exciting opportunity to truly help build a system and put processes in place which are flexible and allow for continued growth.  Work with smart, personable and collaborative professionals who are focused on patient care and community wellness, and believe that “everything touches everything.” Through the development of far range strategies and cutting edge recruitment techniques, this professional also lays the groundwork for their own professional development.

Gainesville, Georgia is a quickly growing area, located an hour north of Atlanta, at the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.  The region has several pristine lakes (including Lake Lanier) ideal for fishing and sailing.  Additionally, the area boasts a multitude of public parks, championship golf courses, tennis courts, marinas and camping areas.  The area offers a wonderful quality of life and excellent school choices.


The ideal candidate will be a team and results-oriented professional who has more than ten years of human resources leadership experience, with recent experience leading the workforce planning and talent acquisition functions for a healthcare system, and will have significant experience directing strategy surrounding workforce development, ideally within a high growth environment.

A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, is required, and a master’s degree is preferred.  In lieu of a graduate degree, ten years of human resources healthcare leadership experience may be considered.  

Professional certifications are valued:   PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP.
