Job Details

Employers Edge is national provider of outsourced Human Resource related services to the nation’s largest employers.  Our services include unemployment cost control services, employment and income verification services, and electronic I-9 management.  We have an immediate opening for a newly created management position in the Silicon Valley, working onsite at one of our prominent client companies in the area.  This manager will bring their I-9 expertise to manage a team of five individuals providing a unique service working daily with the onboarding of new employees.   

Requirements

Key Job Functions

  • Serve as the expert Electronic Form I-9 liaison to our client company onsite at their facility.
  • Serve as the Program Manager for our California team on behalf of our Colorado based company.

Inquiry Resolution & Tracking -

  • Serve as initial-level contact for all Electronic Form I-9 related issues  
  • Determine necessary solutions and ensure resolution of all issues reported. Escalate issues as appropriate to Technical Services Team
  • Serve as a resource for customer inquiries on Form I-9 issues.
  • Follow up inquiries when resolution is not immediate to provide timing and action expectations.
  • As necessary, maintain a call tracking system to document inquiries with an appropriate level of detail.

Administrative and Professional Resource

  • Maintain human resource records by documenting incidents and resolutions of problems.
  • Provide support in partnership with corporate management on job descriptions and job design.
  • Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.


What We’d Like You to Bring:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years HR related experience
  • Extensive experience with the Form I-9, ideally with electronic I-9 systems
  • I-9 Experience Specifically with non-citizen nationals, aliens authorized to work, and lawful permanent residents and associated documentation
  • Skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Project Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time Management

Key Competencies

  • Ability to recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of five part-time staff members in a remote office environment
  • Understand and support our Customer Satisfaction commitment 
  • Has the strong will to involve others and work with them to achieve greater results and performance
  • Is able to think analytically and innovatively to create new process workflows for our team

Position is based in Sunnyvale, California
