JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Delivering HR strategy and HR governance, guidance, service management and support to nuclear internal client groups to drive value

for all four of our key stakeholders

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Enable business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures,

and processes. Operating in a substantially challenging business environment involving exiting a portion of the nuclear assets, while

reinvesting in others and improving strategic HR support to the business.

Assist line managers in strategic workforce planning, to include forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements to support the

function/business strategy

Provide oversight of broadscale

HR consulting and problemsolving

solutions to senior business leaders and operates as a key member

of the senior business leaders’ team.

Lead a team of 2 senior managers and 910

HR Business Partners, enabling their success and development. Total size of organization

(employees + contractors) approximates 35.

Serve as the interface between senior business leaders and the rest of the HR organization

Ensure enterprisewide

HR strategies and programs are aligned with the needs of the business by ensuring the business needs are

understood in HR and the business understands the enterprisewide

Improve talent development, succession slates, organizational health and diversity and inclusion within the client organizations, making

Leverage metrics/tools to assess and monitor organizational effectiveness and to inform businesses in building their business plans

Organizationally, this role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. This is a second level HR Leadership role.

Within the business and on a dotted line basis, this role reports ‘dotted line’ to the Chief Nuclear Officer and interfaces with senior

executive/officers in Nuclear Operations.

Understand social, technological, economic, political environmental, and demographic trends facing our industry

Partner with business unit leaders to plan and implement HR solutions aligned to the business unit and pull in resources from shared

services and centers of excellence as needed

Leverage business and human capital data to create people plans to create competitive advantage

Deliver people with the skill and the will to drive steady, predictable earnings growth

Develops and maintains relationships of mutual respect and trust with external nuclear industry stakeholders including INPO, the NRC,

and industry peers.

Represents Entergy with INPO and the NRC in interactions related to the company’s human resources programs and strategies.

Supports and guides senior Nuclear leaders in the implementation of human resources programs and strategies demonstrating Entergy’s

adherence to the principles described by the INPO Performance Objectives and Criteria

Stays abreast of issued and trends in the nuclear industry on matters related to human resources and talent management

Sets high standards of performance consistent with the principles of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Typically requires a college or university degree in related field or the equivalent work experience

Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of a completed undergraduate

degree, graduate level coursework and handson

work experience that provides the knowledge and experiences necessary to perform

the work.

Minimum experience required of the position

10+ years in field of human resources with strong knowledge of all human resource functions as key business levers. Demonstrated

success as a business partner and internal consultant.

Desired: 15 years HR experience, including:

Demonstrated knowledge in all areas of Talent Management including Workforce Planning, Sourcing, Employee and Leader

Development, Succession Planning, Performance Management

Trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders

Partnering with business leaders to improve employee engagement

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
