Job Details

We are seeking a human resources administrator with a minimum or 2 years experience in the HR field. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desirable, but not required.

Job duties include: Maintain all employee files; assist with payroll; assist with new employee orientation and on-boarding; respond to reference and employment verification inquiries; Assist employees with benefit enrollment; maintain logs for OSHA reporting; assist with employee termination activities, whether voluntary or not; promote employee engagement; help manage workplace conflict among employees; assist HR manager with projects; maintain worker's compensation files; manage worker's compensation records, reports, and inquiries, maintain strong working relationships with all company division managers; general administrative duties unrelated to HR may also be required.


  • Minimum of 2 years experience in HR-related work
  • Good working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines consistently
  • Able to balance multiple priorities at the same time
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with managers in an advisory capacity, and to answer questions related to HR policy and law.
  • Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality of employee and company information
  • Ability to relate and communicate effectively with all levels of employee--from the President to the lowest-paid employee.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles is very desirable
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred
  • College degree is not required
