Job Details

 

  1. Participates in assigned administrative support functions including research, data analysis, and report writing.

  2. Works independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects, which may include: gathering and organizing data, creating database records and reporting information.

  3. Types and designs general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, etc. Proofreads copy, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.

  4. Updates and maintains Administrative personnel files.

  5. Provides support to Field Management by answering questions and following up on inquiries.

  6. Research and compile operation/management reporting, which may include but not limited to, overtime analysis, administrative hours, weekly hires, key numbers, and monthly hours.

  7. Administers safety incentive program.

  8. Create and maintain audit reports, which may include but not limited to, turnover numbers, key numbers for the department, payroll deductions, department headcounts, on time percentages, employment eligibility audits.

  9. Prepares reports on expenses related to the department for review and approval for payment to various vendors.

  10. Trains new assistants in required duties.

  11. Assists with mailroom coordination ensuring coverage and supplies are ordered timely.

  12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  13. Ensures the highest level of customer service and confidentiality at all times.

  14. All other job duties as assigned.

     

     

     

Requirements

  1. Strong knowledge of computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing and database management.
  2. Understanding of federal, state and local labor laws beneficial. 
  3. High school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of two years related administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Human Resource knowledge preferred.
