The HR Analyst supports Human Resources, Organization Development, Payroll and other related business applications; documents system requirements, serves as technical subject matter expert regarding ADP (HRIS) Workforce Now, HR applications such as HR, Onboarding, Time Reporting, and Recruiting system data transfer. This position requires a strong HR business process knowledge along with strong analytical and technical skills. Prior experience with ADP and/or Workforce Now is required. The HR Analyst will participate in the Workforce Now updates and be responsible for the ongoing support of this system and be part of other possible HRIS system integration.  

 

Essential Functions

  • Ensuring high impact and high priority issues are handled in a timely manner.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time and work in a fast-paced office environment

  • Troubleshoot any of HR’s system issues including error messages, log-in difficulties, access denials, data issues, and process and integration failures to include vendors’ communication log with our HR systems. Troubleshoot system errors, both back-end and front-end.
  • Manage project initiatives, lead projects, system upgrades and/or process improvement periods to include. system processes, carrier connections as needed, etc.

  • Develop and maintain a set of standard HR system queries and reports to be scheduled or run on-demand supporting our internal report request, suggest new reports as needed, assure accuracy of all delivered data, and develop ad hoc reports for specific data as needed.
  • Gather, clean, organize, analyze reports and large data sets of HR metrics and Organization Development information in order to identify significant differences, relationships and trends 

  • Visualize results of analyses in the form of graphs, charts, tables and scorecards and prepare results to be communicated in a way that informs and drives the organization to action 

  • Participate in presentations, business meetings and analytical discussions to share insights and findings that will inform business decisions based on results given

  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of HR analytics data, provide subject matter expertise and support change management as a project leader or through ownership of elements of a project. 

  • Support HR data management initiatives and partner with ACA, HRIS vendors, IT and Information Management teams, HR business partners and other vendors to continually improve data management methods and systems and proactively suggest opportunities to avoid problems and anticipate future data needs 

  • Analyze new data sources for availability and quality, and integrate with internal sources to support research and analytics as needed for our Sr. Director of Human Resources, Director of Organization Development and our Director, Marketing and Talent Acquisition

  • Provide daily support for departmental operations and offer special project assistance

  • Respond to request for HR data from other ACA supporting departments

  • Perform analyses of HR data to include turnover, headcount, overtime and compensation analysis

  • Create monthly HR Presentation in PowerPoint and the ability to present if needed

  • Analyze information collected in Exit Interviews

  • Provide insight for process improvement across functional areas

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience working with HR systems; Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience implementing, configuring, and managing an HR Time & Attendance systems

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Must demonstrate exceptional organizational and analytical skills, close attention to detail, and strong problem solving skills to determine root causes of technical problems with the ability to document effectively, escalate appropriately, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Strong ability to take initiative to complete assignments and responsibilities on time

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; Must be able to clearly articulate technical procedures in written documents and provide clear verbal explanation of procedures and end-user documentation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time and work in a fast-paced office environment

  • Ability to maintain confidential information, professional demeanor under pressure and effectively work with employees at all levels

  • Must be flexible to business needs, sometimes working after hours and occasional weekends to complete special projects.

  • Strong MS Office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookup and other advanced Excel functions and formulas)
