 HR Business Manager – HR Reporting and Analysis

The successful HRBM candidate is a consultation catalyst between HR and BM aligning BM objectives with HR practices. The candidate strives to integrate intra-company partnerships with value-added services. Provide MNR with optimum organizational structure with the right people in the right positions to achieve their objectives.

The professional we are seeking coordinates the implementation of services, policies and programs through human resources staff while advising managers about Human Resources issues. 

The candidate must provide direction and leadership for the HR Information system (HRIS) to meet the needs of Metro-North as related to human resources.  The candidate should also act as liaison to the HR team, Business Service Center, system users, IT department, employees and managers.  The candidate must sustain the vision of short and long-term MNR goals and collaborate with all appropriate levels while participating in business meetings and offering prospective and insights on business issues affecting human capital.  It will be essential to ensure effective working relationships with the Business Service Center, Business-Units and Human Resources.

In addition, the candidate will be required to implement a workforce forecast and strategic plan that allows HR to assume an active role in management of future staffing, and responsiveness based upon extensive data analysis and metric models.

The candidate we are seeking should be able to ensure legal compliance with regulatory standards and legal obligations governing HR practices, labor laws, audits. Manages company-wide Workforce data and HR Analytical Reporting. Translates and executes analytical findings by delivering data into dashboard summaries.  Leads internal consulting projects & strategic initiatives aimed at Strategic Workforce Forecasting, HRIS Department Restructuring / Systems Updates and Organizational Changes.  Manages and responds to Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests. Institutes and manages quality control measures to ensure data integrity and accuracy of employee and business information across all HR systems.

Our candidate requirements include a BA in Business, HR Management and/or related field.  A minimum of blended experience in Human Resources and organizational change within a changing organization environment.  Necessary experience should include “hands on” development, workforce planning, or HR Administration.
