Job Description:

EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925, and we are currently looking to fill the position of HR Business Partner headquartered in our Elyria, OH facility. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for strategy development, organization design, talent management, and functional HR integration. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and has multi-plant responsibility.

 

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provides a consultative approach as a strategic partner to senior leadership in developing and delivering integrated and inclusive HR solutions.
  • Measure HR metrics, analyze and make recommendations for process improvement. Lead change management initiatives. Proactively identify opportunities. Provide solutions to organizational challenges.
  • Leads the administration of HR processes including performance management, employee relations, individual and leadership development, rewards & recognition, retention, succession planning and regulatory compliance.
  • Understands and utilizes technology to efficiently deliver HR systems and help people stay connected.
  • Leads the day-to-day delivery of HR services and support for employees.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience
  • SHRM certification or other HR industry equivalent

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field
  • Five years of experience in HR or related field
  • Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels of the organization.
