Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the strategic advisor and business partner to the leadership and management teams.
  • Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Prepares recommendations to top management concerning human resource policies and practices
  • Actively works to establish close trust-based relationship with sector senior management to ensure that business objectives and HR objectives are linked.
  • Leads employee engagement, development and retention initiatives organizationally.
  • Advices management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Coordinates training programs (i.e. leadership, compliance, performance)
  • Leads succession planning, and leadership training initiatives with the sector.
  • Evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of sectors and department in relation to established goals.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of organization, department and services performed.
 

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge of legal and employee relations, and compliance regulations.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.  
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of international deployment and SCA a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of compensation and related issues

 

 

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of Human Resources experience, OR
  • A Master' degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration and three (6) years of experience in the HR field, OR
  • Any similar combination of education and experience.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
  • Must be able to travel 25%

Clearance Requirement: 

This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI). Clearance will be completed by the U.S. Government.
