Job Details

This role is a human resources generalist with a full range of experience in coaching, employee relations, change management, compensation, talent acquisition, and performance management. Must possess the ability to manage a broad range of tasks to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.


  • Advise, counsel, ensure compliance and update managers, supervisors, and employees on company policies, practices, procedures, benefits, and wages. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Provide guidance to supervisors and employees regarding policy and HR program administration and interpretation.
  • Provides direct HR consultation to managers, employees, relating to benefits, payroll, employee relations and policy related questions.
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Coordinates advertisements, social media, career fair marketing, source candidates, interviews, reference checks, makes offers and compensation recommendations to assist in recruiting efforts.
  • Administers company Background and Drug/Alcohol Testing Compliance for Pre-employment.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to explain policies and benefit programs and to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Promote and support the business and HR strategies designed to align the business departments and grow of the organization.
  • Drive performance culture through manager coaching and effective use of metrics and tools. Ensure culture reflects mission, vision, and values through proactive employee relations and leadership coaching.
  • Implement and execute performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to performance appraisals and performance improvement plans.
  • Processes payroll data and verifies reports for accuracy; submits completed payroll for production.
  • Manage the company's suite of benefits, vendor evaluation, annual enrolments, employee education, new hire processing, etc.
  • Maintain detailed operating knowledge of processes, systems, and services offered by the HR team.
  • Assist supervisors/department heads in terminations and disciplinary hearings as needed. Consult with managers and provide guidance; coach managers regarding selection, retention, associate development, performance deficiencies, counseling, disciplinary issues, termination processes, and investigations.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Handles workers compensation/accidents, STD, LTD, FMLA, COBRA, ACA and confidential matters.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Title VII, ADA and EEOC Laws to assist the Business Unit in reaching their business goals.
  • Other duties as needed.


  • Bachelor’s Degree & PHR certification required
  • 4-5 years’ experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25% at times
