BOSTIK is hiring! We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner/Manager (Total Compensation & HR Systems) for our Wauwatosa, WI location.

The HR Business Partner/Manager (Total Compensation & HR Systems) will serve as a valued partner and trusted advisor while providing  strategic and generalist  H R support to Consumer & Construction Business Unit

DESCRIPTION:

Job Activities:

  • Serve as a valued partner and trusted advisor while providing  strategic and generalist  H R support to Consumer & Construction Business Unit
  • Develops, provides and educates on company’s compensation tools including external and internal comparisons
  • Manages annual merit as well as sales and other incentive compensation programs
  • Lead payroll and data compliance for Bostik as part of Arkema’s HR SAP
  • Manager System Administration for Kronos
  • Manage system configurations details, maintenance,  upgrades for HR systems  working collaboratively within the region and globally as needed (HR SAP, SuccessFactors, etc.)
  • Manages Bostik’s Health & Welfare/Benefits programs with input from parent ensuring effective employee communication and total compensation value understanding
  • Assure multi-employer plan designs meet Bostik’s needs
  • Take steps to move Bostik toward a culture of good health
  • Measure financial impact of plans and determine appropriate employee cost sharing strategies.
  • Manages required government filings, audits & internal control procedures and processes
  • Participates as member of HR Leadership Team to assist with other HR initiatives and generalist responsibilities
  • Support Talent Management, Training & Development, and other general HR functions/activities as needed
  • Practices safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines, and Bostik specific EHS expectations


Job Dimensions:

  • Serve as the HR Business Partner for Consumer & Construction Business Unit which includes ongoing support for C&C operations faculties in North America
  • Work with Parent Company to Administer Employee Benefit Plans
  • Lead Compensation Programs for Bostik, Inc.
  • Manage HR Systems to include HR SAP, SuccessFactors, Kronos, etc.
  • Manage Bostik, Inc. Supplemental Retirement Plan, Top Hat Plan, and Bostik, Inc. Specific Benefits

 

Context and Environment:

  • The job involves strategic, collaborative work within the Bostik and Arkema HR teams, with employees and managers within Bostik, Inc., and particularly within the Consumer &Construction Business Unit.   The HRBP role requires residence  near  the general area of Bostik Americas Smart Technology & Business Center , the ability to travel as needed – primarily domestic travel, some international project involvement.  A strong understanding of HR practices is required to ensure programs are administered within an appropriate culture framework, competitively and meet compliance standards.

Requirements

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with relevant work experience;  advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience and development in Professional Human Resources Roles, manufacturing environment (min 3 years)
  • 1+ Year of Supervisory Experience
  • 5+ Years of HR Generalist Experience Required
  • Experience with Compensation Systems, Benefits Programs,  and HR Systems
  • Thrives in an open, growth oriented business.  Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.  Seen as a “go to” resource.  Positive change agent.
  • Builds strong relationships across all levels of the organization, with key stakeholders, and external partnerships.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and system skills. SAP HR experience preferred.
  • Effectively blends vision and strategy with practicality to drive results.
  • Logical decision maker, project management mindset, change management awareness.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Some union labor relations experience beneficial, not required.
