Job Details

Mary Washington Healthcare, a regional medical system with two state-of-the-art hospitals – Mary Washington Hospital, a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center and Stafford Hospital – has an immediate opportunity for a HR Compliance Manager, AAP and EEO.

As the Manager you will be responsible for HR-related healthcare compliance, Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity programs and processes across the organization.  You will advocate compliance initiatives and outreach programs both internally and externally, advance the organization's position with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and auditors and oversee continuous improvement and application of HR policy and practices to ensure compliance across MWHC.

You will be responsible for policies, programs, and regulations related to federal and state laws, including but not limited to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and other healthcare related compliance requirements for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), The Joint Commission (TJC), etc.

In addition to a bachelor’s degree, ideal candidates must have:

  • Minimum of five years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 
  • Excellent knowledge of human resources and/or benefits administration. 
  • Strong experience with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity programs. 
  • Ability to work with confidential materials and employee information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
