The HR Coordinator will provide support across a variety of human resource functional areas to include talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, on-boarding, employee engagement, and metrics/reporting. 


  • Coordinates interview and recruiting event logistics to include posting open positions, scheduling candidate interviews, booking meeting spaces, and coordinating travel/food arrangements.   
  • Takes ownership for the on-boarding process for new hires to include processing background checks/drug screens, preparing new hire packets, and executing new hire orientation.
  • Responds to healthcare, retirement, and leave benefit questions to include PTO, STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and Worker’s Compensation and responsible for the ongoing administration of these programs.
  • Spearheads the lawful permanent resident process, employment eligibility verifications (I-9’s), and employee engagement activities. 
  • Generates HR reports, metrics, presentations, spreadsheets, and correspondences; performs data entry and maintains personnel filing system.   
  • Answers employee questions about human resource policies and procedures, and talent acquisition activities and refers to the HR Team as needed.
  • Supports HR Projects to include open enrollment, wellness initiatives, university relations, on-campus recruiting events, performance management, and company-wide events.


  • Ability to think, plan, and execute independently on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion. 
  • Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Must have high degree of integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to be flexible, motivated, resourceful, and organized. 
  • Has a strong customer service orientation and looks for opportunities to be proactive with regards to supporting our workforce.
  • Displays strong motivation to succeed and is a self-starter.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and prior experience working with applicant tracking and human resource information systems.

  • Looks to continuously improve processes and how work is accomplished; takes a proactive approach to completing work tasks.

  • Is relied upon to deliver in a timely fashion with work being, by and large, accurate.



  • 5+ years of human resources/recruiting experience within a fast-paced client orientated environment. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Business, HR Mgmt., etc.) or equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
