Job Details

The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. The HR Coordinator will act as the liaison between HR managers and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries.  

Major Job Responsibilities/Duties

Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees throughout East, South East & New England Regions including SMR

Screen applicant resumes; coordinate interviews with hiring managers; perform reference and background checks; schedule pre-placement physicals and prepare authorization forms; manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system; manage applications/resumes; use resources such as newspaper ads, career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc. to identify and attract quality candidates

Facilitate on boarding of new employees; complete I-9 for new hires; process documentation for new hires, terminations and other status changes; review benefit enrollment procedures with new employees

Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies); create new employee personnel files and file papers and documents into appropriate employee files

Code invoices related to HR recruiting, onboarding and policy/law changes for processing

Files documents into appropriate employee and medical files

Assists HR director with various research and special projects. Also, coordinate HR Projects (meetings, trainings, surveys etc.) by reserving facilities and coordinating meals

Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives. Answer employee requests and questions. Prepare photocopies and other documents for various projects












Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with HR related courses or equivalent work experience


Microsoft office, counseling skills, broad range of knowledge relating to employee relations, recruiting techniques, professional development and safety and environmental issues


Bi-lingual a plus
