ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an HR Generalist to craft, lead and support our people operations initiatives and team-building efforts.  The HR Generalist will build, deliver and manage HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance management and team member relations to create and sustain an innovative and entrepreneurial team and culture.

ABOUT US:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with HR Manager to investigate and resolve team member issues and concerns
  • Partners with recruiting to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to team member
  • Manages the performance appraisal system and process
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with local, state and federal employment laws, including maintaining E-Verify and maintenance of electronic and hard copy files and paperwork
  • Ensures data integrity of HRIS systems
    • Provides appropriate reporting of data
    • Trains seasonal team members to use HRIS systems
  • Teams with HR Manager to create best practice processes in all areas of HR
  • Manages seasonal hiring, onboarding and offboarding process
    • Maintains proactive, strong and open communications with department managers
    • Partners with manager to develop planning strategies for seasonal staffing
  • Assists in creating training programs for team members and managers

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR required, preferably in a generalist role
  • Experience in a start-up or an entrepreneurial organization undergoing organizational change required
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Prior experience with ADP WFN and Greenhouse systems preferred
