ConnectionsAZ, Inc. is hiring an HR Generalist - Compensation who will be responsible for the strategic design, development, implementation, and management of all compensation programs to attract the right people, reward the right behaviors, and retain valued employees. Ensures that policies and procedures are legally compliant and align with company objectives. ConnectionsAZ, Inc. is a multifaceted Behavioral Health company founded in 2009 that provides emergency psychiatric, substance abuse, and consulting services in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.

  • Develops and implements compensation programs, including job classifications, benchmarking, annual performance management, and strategic and total compensation (bonus, incentive and equity plans)
  • Manages the job description process; partners with leaders and HR business partners to develop job descriptions that accurately reflect position scope and qualifications, conducts job evaluations, and ensures job descriptions are uniform and updated
  • Leads strategy work with HR and executive leadership to ensure compensation programs and costs are aligned with the business culture, philosophy and objectives.
  • Drives the annual compensation planning cycle
  • Develops, documents and communicates procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Partners with HRIS and recruiting staff to ensure systems meet compensation needs and are updated timely to reflect changes in job descriptions, salary structures, bonus programs, etc.
  • Researches and recommends technology solutions to create efficiencies in the delivery of the compensation model
  • Educates HR team members and business leaders on compensation policy and enhancements to programs
  • Conducts regular analysis on internal and external pay statistics; participates in salary surveys as appropriate
  • Processes voluntary terminations and conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations for leaders and HR business partners for continuous improvement
  • Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and analyzes outcome data
  • Manages and tracks all corrective actions
  • Under direction of HR Manager and/or CHRO, conducts investigations and reviews employee relations issues/partners with managers on recommended action


Requirements

  • EDUCATION: At least a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance or mathematics
  • EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of work experience in the analysis and administration of compensation and classification programs, including total compensation theory, job classification principles and job evaluation methodology.
  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: CCP, SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: None required
  • DEMONSTRATED PROFICIENCY: Advanced level competency in Microsoft Excel (data modeling, Visio mapping, charts), strong writing skills, strong analytical and quantitative skills for financial modeling, salary structure design, market benchmarking and job evaluation, ability to prepare and present information to all levels in the organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment.
