Heartland Financial USA, Inc. (Heartland) is seeking a HR Generalist to join our growing team in Dubuque, IA. The HR Generalist is responsible for partnership to assigned internal customers via a proactive approach to Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Management, and HR Operations support. This will include identifying issues and implementing initiatives to attract, develop and retain people while managing personnel risks.

Qualifications:
1. College Degree, 3+ years of Human Resources Experience
2. Identify training opportunities including formal training, job rotation, etc. for staff
3. Helps to manage staff integration and retention during year one through a structured approach to onboarding, mentoring, and check-backs
4. Strong relationship building, conflict management, critical judgement and negotiation skills
