Job Details

IES Commercial & Industrial an Electrical/Instrumentation Construction Contractor – Greenville, SC, seeking full-time HR Generalist to provide oversight and leadership for HR policies, procedures, practices, and programs; implement and complete HR and skilled trades recruiting goals and objectives; and maintain compliance within all HR functions for multiple State job site locations

Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Human Resources preferred or related) or equivalent combination of recent experience and training with current PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • 6 years recent HR generalist experience, understanding of HR functions, policies, products, and services
  • 4 years skilled trades recruiting experience in construction industry (or similar frontline hourly skilled labor force)
  • 2-4 years internet recruiting experience with demonstrated knowledge of related computer/software
  • Current knowledge of federal/state/local employment laws
  • Proficient computer/internet/software (WORD/EXCEL/PPT) skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to travel if required
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace

Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating motor vehicle must be able to pass motor vehicle record check
