We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our world-class HR team in Montville, New Jersey. Under the direction of the Vice President, Human Resources the Human Resources Generalist will provide professional support to Leaders, Managers and Individual Contributors within our Organization.  This position will handle a variety of activities involving reporting, policies, procedures, staffing, employee relations, communications, compensation and benefits administration.  In this role, you will develop and propose improvements to policies, programs, systems and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the Human Resources Department, recommend measures to improve methods and quality of HR services; suggest/participate in changes to increase efficiency, research and provides on-going updates of state and federal regulatory requirements impacting all areas of HR compliance, assist in salary review process for recommendations on new hire salaries, promotional increases, equity adjustments and annual merit increases and assist in the review of position descriptions and evaluate jobs for internal ranking, to ensure equitable salary rates both internally and externally.

 

Qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (Masters preferred) along with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in HR, with at least 2 years of employee relations experience; PHR/SPHR preferred. Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing is helpful, along with a background in Aerospace/Defense.  Must be computer literate, with excellent oral and written communication skills. This position requires a detail oriented individual who must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
