Job Details

■       Demonstrate a strong understanding and working knowledge of all HR processes and programs for WCO and Denver based colleagues

       Address concerns and problem-solve complex HR issues and exceptions to general policies in collaboration with the Manager of HR

       Support smooth entry and exit of Firm members, including coordinating new hire orientation, processing relevant paperwork, and sharing HR/benefits information with new Firm members

       Foster an excellent working relationship with the Tampa-based HR team, working collaboratively to understand best practices, and problem solving opportunities for ongoing process improvement

       Understand and communicate office-specific and Firm-wide policies and procedures when necessary

       Support the performance management process and database, e.g., coordinate process, enter data changes to Talent Management tool, ensure data accuracy, identify design improvements

       Manage the Firm Mobility process for inbound and outbound transferees in collaboration with the Professional Development and Tampa HR teams, including orientation for inbound transferees

       Act as back-up to the WC OIC (Office Immigration Contact), exercising a deep knowledge of immigration policies; manage the I-9 database to ensure we are in compliance

       Create and maintain electronic personnel files, including processing and e-filing all new hire paperwork

       Conduct personnel analysis and reporting, using Firm database (ePeople)

       Lead and contribute to other HR projects as needed

       Knowledge of California and local employment law

       Solid understanding of HR systems, and Windows and Notes applications

BACKGROUND/TRAINING

       Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR or related field

       3 to 5 years of general HR experience; professional services experience preferred
