Job Details

The HR Manager position requires the ability to successfully lead a team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a broad background and hands-on experience in several HR disciplines including benefits administration, leaves of absences, on-boarding & off-boarding and program and policy implementation.

Candidate must be a progressive thinker with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/tasks from inception to completion in a changing environment.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related discipline. (Bachelor’s degree preferred) - PLUS Minimum 8 years’ experience in Human Resources; 5 years’ supervisory experience

  • PHR or SHRM-CP

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to ensure effective and appropriate policies and procedures are followed (e.g. processing of personnel actions, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and completion of reports) for the purpose of being timely, accurate, legal and meeting organizational objectives.

  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions

  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and working knowledge of HR policies and best practices

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects to completion including organizing, prioritizing, planning, scheduling and following up on all project related items

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be flexible and change directions when needed

  • Advanced Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SharePoint or Oracle a plus

  • Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills
