CrowdStrike has an opening for an HR Learning and Development Training Specialist who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong training development background. As a member of the People team, you will be responsible for building our world-wide on boarding and training program, including new hire on-boarding, and soft skill/leadership and development training. You will be responsible for developing scalable On-boarding Initiatives: Drive the development and implementation of new technical initiatives supporting CrowdStrike employee on-boarding. Identify opportunities to enhance the on-boarding experience and accelerate acclimation to the company and culture.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver our weekly on-boarding training and overview to new hires globally
  • Deliver and facilitate our monthly, full day on-boarding training to our new hires globally
  • Consult with SMEs to create objectives, content outlines and select delivery method for training.
  • Design and develop content using learning methodologies to address training objectives.
  • Create evaluation strategy for understanding training effectiveness.
  • Develop content using documents and videos.  eLearning skills a plus.
  • Implement content with a strategy that will ensure its effectiveness. 
  • Coordinate all aspects of training roll out.
  • Deliver training virtually or in person as needed
  • Partner in the design, development and implementation of learning solutions for training curriculum including unique programs such as: our first 30 day program, Customer service training, compliance training and others.
  • Partner in creating learning content utilizing various authoring tools: documents, videos, etc.
  • Support learning events – includes roll-up your sleeves coordination when needed.
  • Conduct survey analysis that evaluates learning program effectiveness and implement improvements to drive performance and greater understanding.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

 

Skills/Experience

  • Proficiency of adult learning theory, instructional systems design models and evaluation strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • 4+ years’ experience in a high-tech industry in learning
  • Demonstrated capability in building trusted partnerships at all levels of the organization
  • Experience administering learning platforms including non-traditional LMS systems
  • Training development and delivery including project/program management
  • Content creation using a variety of authoring tools including: PowerPoint, video, Camtasia, Prezi, Audacity, etc.
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization
  • Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Personal effectiveness/credibility
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Learning Management Systems
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust course as business needs change

                                                        

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
